Learning Outside the Classroom

Lancashire Museums offer a wide range of inspiring and stimulating visits for you and your pupils. From an introduction to the Viking way of life by a Viking warrior at Lancaster Maritime Museum, to a lesson as a Victorian half-timer at Queen Street Mill, or a potted history of 1066 at Clitheroe Castle, you are sure to find something that will complement and enhance your teaching.   1. Telephone the venue's booking service to make a provisional booking for the proposed date of your visit.
  2. Complete the booking form that we send to you and return it to us along with a non-refundable deposit of £30 to confirm your booking.
  3. Upon receipt of your completed booking form and deposit we will confirm your visit.

How much does it cost?

Sessions are all 2 hours long. You can choose either a morning or afternoon time slot, or you can combine both sessions to make a day of it.
